A pond liner is an impermeable membrane offering guaranteed water containment properties for lakes, reservoirs, garden ponds and artificial streams in parks and gardens. Russetts Developments Ltd (RDL) fabricate Butyl pond liners at our warehouse in Milton Keynes. Sheet rubber is imported from Sweden and cut to required lengths before vulcanising together to form the finished pond liner ready for order.
Our experienced factory operatives ensure quality is maintained as the highest priority to guarantee customer satisfaction throughout our product range.
Butyl rubber pond liner
Butyl pond liners have successfully been used to line ponds, lakes and reservoirs for the past 40 years due to their life-long characteristics, flexibility and ability to accommodate ground movement.
Exceptional physical properties provided by Butyl pond liners
However, Butyl rubber has recently substantially increased in price and for this reason has been replaced as our main pond lining membrane with Epalyn EP rubber pond liner, which has a very similar technical specification and even shows some superior properties. Butyl rubber is still used extensively for bespoke projects and box-welded or tailored-to-fit liners. Prices are given on request and based on measurements needed.
